Devon/Oakhampton/Eileen Haynes

Beautiful views through Devon.  We took this quick trip to visit Elder and Sister Costley who were serving in Newton Abbott, neat Exeter.  We were so glad we did as when we got there we found they were going home in just five days due to a health concern of Elder Costley's.  They came out with us from the MTC in Provo, and began their mission in the London Temple Visitor's Center until the end of last December.  When the Visitor's Center was closed, they were transferred to Plymouth Stake.  When we were assigned to Poole Stake, we were still in the same mission after the realignment of mission boundaries last July.  (Birmingham Mission) After leaving, we felt bad we had not taken their picture!  Since they live in Kaysville, UT, we will get one when we get home.  (I probably have one on an earlier blog post!)

We were definitely out in the country and loved it.  Can't see the cows in this picture...

Anytime Dad sees something the grandkids might like, he takes a picture of it!  This was on the road as we drove by, near our B&B, so he had to turn around and go back to get the picture.  He is wondering how it might look in our backyard in Provo...

Next morning we saw a few new sites on the way to Eileen Haynes' home in Witheridge, near Tiverton.  There are castles everywhere!  Couldn't pass this one up...

Final Destination - Eileen!  Had a great visit for a few hours, but had to be home for assignments the next day.  Eileen is always making something new for someone!
