After visiting the Preston Temple, we returned to Birmingham via Liverpool, and were able to quickly see some of the harbor sites where many people left for America after joining the Church long ago. We had family who left for America from this location as well, including some of Sister Parker's Danish ancestors.

Hard to see in this picture, but this is The Beatles Museum - another Liverpool site right near the docks! |
Left Liverpool to return to Birmingham to meet up with some other senior missionaries.

Spent the night in Birmingham to attend a play before returning to Poole.
War Horse was wonderful! It was amazing to watch the mechanical horses throughout the entire production. They almost seemed alive!

Elder and Sister Bates (from UT), Elder and Sister Sprouse (from TX) with Sister Parker.

We sat at the top which was needed as Sister Parker was still using crutches. We could take the elevator and come in on the flat, and only had a very few steps to come down. |

Won't be here for Peter Pan and Jimmy Osmond as Captain Hook! |
