Maddens transfer, Nyree Kilgour, Last Sunday in our Worthing Ward - May 31-June 3

Dinner with Wallaces and Maddens

Elder and Sister Madden are transferring to Guernsey Island for three months.  When the missions merge at the end of this month, we will still be in the same mission with these dear friends - England Birmingham Mission!  Our other dear friends, the Wallaces, will move to Hyde Park to continue to be over housing and vehicles for the England London Mission, which is a terribly big job!

Nyree Driscoll Kilgour from Basingstoke.  She has done family history research on Dad's Parker line near where she lives, just as a hobby.  It was so fun to make this connection here in England.

Our M&Ms were getting soft in the car, so I chilled them back up in front of the AC so we could give them to friends!

Elder and Sister Parker with Catrina and Ken Hamilton, Worthing, England.  Catrina is our Primary President and Ken is the Ward Mission Leader.  Wonderful people, and I will especially miss playing the piano in Primary.  We will miss them.

Elder Jergensen and Elder Connor - our Worthing elders.

Poole and Weymouth Trip

Weymouth, England, DORSET.  We took a couple of days to check out the areas where we will be moving.  Stayed two nights at this small B&B just a few yards from the beach.

Bankers Holiday, like our Memorial Day - first day of Summer.  Head for the beach!

View from our bedroom window, right on the street.

The lights at night were really fun.  There was a ferris wheel just to the right with colored lights!

Mission van - Elder Parker is great at parallel-parking this monster!  It is really long.

Elder Germany, Poole, England

Sister Parker and Sister Germany - We will be replacing them in another few weeks in Poole.

Elder Sly, Senior BBQ, Departures, Hannelore Kreuzmair - May 8-11

President and Sister Gubler with Elder Sly (Salem , UT) who fell off a roof on Guernsey Island and returned home after being in the hospital for over a month.

Most of our missionaries depart from Heathrow Airport in London.

Elder Sly with parents.  Some of our family may recognize them as they have been to Aspen Grove several times.

Last Senior Missionary BBQ at The Gubler's home.  Changes coming...

Departing Missionaries

Trying to get them loaded and headed for Heathrow!

The Lingfield Train Station is our closest station, and we use it often to bring missionaries in and out from the office.  It is only five minutes away.

Sister Harkness, Sister Wallace, Hannelore Kreuzmair (from Nuremburg) and Sister Parker.  We often make good friends with those who visit The London Temple and stay in the Accommodations Centre where some of us live.  "P-Day" as we are all in jeans to do cleaning.
