Catherine Cox (Kitty) about 18 years old in America

When Levi had returned from serving in the army he found that his mother and sister, Kate had joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Swineshead. He had listened but had not joined at that time. While in London, Levi became acquainted with the Mormons, listened to the message of the Gospel and on the 22nd February 1857 he and Mary were baptized by Elder Caleb Summerhays in the Westminster Branch.

St Marylebone Parish Church was where Levi Ashton Cox and Mary Sharp were married on 2 Oct 1853.  They emigrated to America in 1863 on board the Ship Amazon.
