Lewes Castle Trip-Senior Outing

Senior Outing to Lewes Castle with Wallaces and Maddens.  We love the rain!  If you chose to stay home in England when it rained, you would never go anywhere!

Lewes Castle, about 45 minutes from The London Temple where we live.  Wonderful history and quaint village.

We wondered why there was a Russian cannon in Lewes...I forgot to read the sign!
Favorite companions.

I've been having trouble with my knee and other joints, but I made all those steps in the background.  Then the turrets in the castle about did me in...  But the view from the top was worth it.

Dinner at Paglia e Fieno in East Grinstead - anything from pizza to liver to "dirty beef" and a salad I had that I didn't know what I was eating half of the time!  (But it must have been healthy.)

Elder Parker loves the traditional English breakfast!  It always includes baked beans, one fried egg, mushrooms, bacon (ham), and sausages.  (Usually there is a fried tomato also.)

The Devon countryside is exceptionally green and beautiful.  This picture does not due it justice!

Busy Day Moving Missionaries/Temple Reflection at Night

This was the only picture we took of the moving of missionaries from one flat to another near London.

After a long and tiring day, a walk around the temple is very peaceful.  The pond was exceptionally clear this evening and the reflection perfect!  Good way to end a hectic week as we had transfers again...  Only two more transfers till our mission merges with England London Mission and England Birmingham Mission.  Then we will close the office here and be re-assigned for our last few months in England.  We will miss these beautiful temple grounds where we live.
