Tintagel, England - Tied with Legionary King Arthur

Last week was Zone Conference in Bristol, England.  The next day all senior missionaries were meeting in Plymouth for an over-night activity.  In stead of going home several hours to Poole and then getting up early the next morning to travel to Plymouth, we decided to stay in Tintagel, the legionary home of legionary King Arthur, and drive back to Plymouth from there.  We stayed at this old hotel-made-B&B about 1/2 mile from the Atlantic Ocean - the northwestern part of Cornwall.

Crab salad - local crab?

Lamb chops with peas and mash - very British!

The days are getting shorter...

Tintagel Church near the castle ruins.  The church is still used today.  We met a woman in one of the village shops that noticed our missionary tags and was so glad to see that we are Christians, too!  She helps with keeping this old Church in  use for the village.

Village of Tintagel is small but fun!
