Oxford Quick Trip, Zone Meeting Food Preparation, Missionary Misc.

Quick trip to Oxford to help a sister missionary move to a new area.  We had no time to tour, but passed this historic site near where the missionaries lived:

Debtor's Tower Old Oxford City Wall

Oxford, near old city wall.

Accommodations Centre kitchen where we prepare lots of food for transfers and zone conferences!  It takes four large pots (Sister Parker bought on line) every time we do pasta or potatoes!  Then we put it in warmer boxes that Elder Parker bought on line so we can haul the food to the conference wherever it is - usually in Crawley, about 20 minutes away.

No one had used large foil pans before, but they work a lot better than 15 crock pots most of the time!  (Though crock pots have their benefits, too!)
Elder Parker has become a great cook when it comes to not letting the sauce scorch!

Two of us can turn out a lot of food in a pretty short time when we need to.

We're always the last to eat - after the missionaries have cleared up most of the plates and utinsils!

Missionary farewell party in Worthing.

Worthing Ward members.

Dinner and games at Elder and Sister Wallace's - Sister Wallace's birthday.
(Sister Wallace, Sister Harkness, Sister Parker,
Elder and Sister Madden.)

Footprints in the snow - finally!  We have had snow, but not very much...

Senior Conference Portsmouth Harbour Tour

It was really fun to have our senior conference in Portsmouth.  Glen served near here in Fareham and Gosport 48 years ago.

Admiral Nelson - died on board.

We're doing well!  This was a great conference.

The Mary Rose - King Henry VIII's favorite, cap-sized and several hundred drowned.

Elder Parker and Elder Costley always have really good conversations!  We were also wishing the ice cream bus was open as the day was so nice...
